I bought this card hoping to get some more life out of my 7 year old computer, i looked for many PCI cards but none were good at all. Finally i started looking for AGP cards and found this, went ahead and bit my lip and bought this card hoping it would make a great difference. Well i've been using it for 5 days now, and i will say this, it has surpassed my hopes and has probably given my computer 2-3 more years of use. I can now play the games i've had sitting in boxes for awhile now. Great card, works great with my 1080p monitor. I love it, i will purchase from HIS again. BTW, for those people who want "quiet" cards, this card is VERY VERY silent.

Great Graphic-Card! It works absolutly perfect with my CPU (AMD AthlonXP 3200+) and my Board (A7N8X-E deluxe nForce2Ultra400)! Games are running very good and fast. Most I like the HDMI-output because I use my PC also for TV-Recording! Many congratulations to HIS for this perfect, cool and noiseless Card!

Yes the 4670 agp 1M is cool but a super overclocked version or simply a 4770 agp would have been a better mainstream choice. For agp users the cards would have sold like hotcakes.
Im using a msi 8x agp motherboard 2gig of xms 800ddr2 4-4-4-12 latency & a athalon 6400x2. A killer agp card would be great. Something to upgrade from a 7950gt apg would be very welcomed.

Picked this car up 2 weeks ago. Although the supplier I ordered it from took FOREVER to get it to me, it was well worth the wait.
I am using this card with an AMD Opteron 170 cpu, and 2GB DDR, and it is running everything I have at MUCH higher fps than before. Just as an example or two, I have WoW running on Ultra settings, and Fallout 3 on High.
The native HDMI is making video play back from my machine to my tv amazing as well.
Anyone looking for a great upgrade to a legacy machine.. this is the card for you!

recommend this card to everyone with an
AGP slot. You can't go wrong with the
best of the best. Many online stores
have rebates, putting the cost at
around $100. With this card maxed out,
The whole Crysis series plays perfectly.
I'm very happy that HIS has continued
it's support of the AGP slot. The cooler
keeps it so cool, even while playing the
most graphically demanding games. Buy it,

As a pc enthusiast, I like to run multiple systems using multiple configurations, currently as a test machine I am building a top of the line s478 pentium 4.
After debating the usefulness of 1Gb of video memory on a 32bit machine, I ordered this card. The conclusion I have is that its potential is staggering. In one go I have jumped from an ageing p4 to a modern mid range multimedia machine capable of high end video decoding, GPGPU video encoding and complex mathematical processing such as seti@home and folding@home and it's even competent at playing the latest in pc gaming. Oh and the 1Gb does not seem to take 1Gb of the 32bit Memory adressing which is a pleasant surprise.
What surprises me the most is that no hardware review site has any interest in performing a benchmark review of thus system, I do intend to rectify this soon.
Although I do wish HIS would push this product more in the market place and in online advertising.
